Ken Ferrucci, Director of Government Affairs of the Connecticut State Medical Society, along with Dr. Seyed Aleali, address the audience.  Mr. Ferrucci stated that all the Connecticut counties have done an excellent job on the local level by holding round-table discussions and meetings with legislators.  He also said that the postcards which have been placed in physicians offices are beginning to show patients how this medical malpractice crisis is effecting physicians and patients alike.

The Honorable John G. Rowland, Governor of the State of Connecticut, speaks to the CSMS physicians.  Governor Rowland agreed with physicians, stating:  "This (the medical malpractice crisis) is one of the most critical issues facing Connecticut....This is not something that just effects doctors, this is a health care access issue that effects our families, our communities, and our care...Let's do something right and let's do it effective."

A panel of physicians, patients, and legislators address the audience on the importance of medical malpractice reform.
